Dr. Sewah Persaud is a native of Canada and immigrated to the US in 1989 with his family. He is an alumnus from Niceville High school located in Florida. From there he also pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Persaud offers general dentistry procedures including composite fillings, crowns and bridges. In continuing his education Dr. Persaud has taken classes to offer extractions, root canals, and invisalign.
Dr. Vicki Mayo-Persaud is a native of Cullman, Alabama and is an alumnus of Cullman High School. After graduation she pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated in 2000. After graduation she and Dr. Persaud both moved to Mobile where they began their dental careers. In late 2005 she and Dr. Persaud moved to Huntsville and opened Providence Family Dental. Alongside providing general dentistry procedures, Dr. Mayo has completed continuing education classes to broaden her knowledge in other spectrums of dentistry. These classes include implant restorations, veneers, and removable such as partials and dentures.
Dr. Mayo and Dr. Persaud are a husband-and-wife duo, upon entering the practice you will see photos of their beautiful family in the lobby and front desk area. Outside of work the doctors are often surrounded by their 4 children and doing various family activities. They both are firm believers that family is the most important thing, and it is often passed on through their work. They strive to treat each patient like family and make the office feel like a calm and inviting space. Our staff often refer to the practice as their second home and co-workers as their family because of the amazing work environment the doctors have created.
